I just wanted to let everyone know, that Jason's grandfather, Jack, passed away this evening. His wife, Carole, passed away earlier this week on Tuesday. They were both suffering from cancer. They shared 51 years of marriage together, and barely spent any time away from each other. They had 3 children, 12 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren, not counting in-laws.
Jack and Carole were the sweetest people I could ever hope to meet. They accepted me into their family as their granddaughter without a second thought. I called them grandma and pop. I was proud to have another set of grandparents. Jack and Carole have been a shining example of love and respect and what a marriage should entail. Jack's humor always made you smile, even if it was a little cheesy. Carole had a way of making everyone comfortable around her.
I know that they are in Heaven together now, embracing, knowing they couldn't even spend a week apart from one another. I know that we will seem them again one day, and that they are watching over us. I love you, Grandma and Pop!

It's a blessing in disguise, isn't it? While you and your family will miss them, it is comforting to know that they are with each other in the Spirit World. I am so grateful that you are able to bear such a solid testimony of that. It helps to remind the rest of us that things like death are literally not the end of the world.
