Sunday...where do I begin?

This past Sunday started like any other Sunday. We got up, we got dressed and we headed to church. The problem started when it was time to take Ethan to Primary. He said he didn't want to go because he was scared. When asked why, he said "Because of the pumpkins." (There is a paper garden on the wall and there are some pumpkins) When asked what was scary, he said, "They are going to pull me apart." What? So we told him that he would have to sit still and quiet with us in Sunday School, with his arms folded. We thought he would be begging to go to Primary in a matter of minutes.... if ONLY we were so lucky! He actually sat still for the longest he ever has in his life. Whenever we asked if he was ready to go to Primary, he would say no. So, we know now for sure that Ethan inherited my stubborness. We ended up leaving after that because Jason or I would miss our next class because one of us would have to be out in the hall with him. We go him all loaded in the car and he starts crying. "I want to go to Primary!" Oh it was too late. He needed to know there were consequences, so we headed home. He screamed so loud! And he kept trying to get out of his carseat. We finally got home and he took a nap. Jason and I just didn't know what to do. So next Sunday one of us is going to go in there with him.

After he woke up, we decided to take him to the park. We thought he could use some outdoor time. So here are some pictures from that afternoon.

There are alot form the swings because he kept wanting to go back to them.

Then he started going down the slide backwards...

He turned halfway through and I got an action shot.

He was worn out and just tucked himself into the swing.

Anyways, pray that we don't have to deal with that craziness again anytime soon.

Claim Jumpers

On Friday, we went to Claim Jumpers because the last time we were there, we received a scratcher to win free food. I picked up my friend Yvonne earlier that day, and she came with us since Jayson was working until 9 that night. It's been really nice to hang out with her lately. She had helped us out the night before when Mom and I went to Morongo...she watched Ethan until Jason got home.

Anyways, it was nice to hang out and I just wanted to share the funny pictures I took. The one of her and I isn't great, mainly because I have no makeup on and it was the end of the day.

Ethan entertaining himself by standing on his head.... yeah he was kind of a handful that night.

Wheel...of...Fortune! (sucks)

Well, on Thursday, my mom and I decided to go to Casino Morongo to try-out for Wheel of Fortune. It was scheduled between 6-10pm. We got there around 5pm and tried to find out where the line started and what was going on. We found a line and we were directed to the back of the casino where we would find a different line for a different set of armbands to get into the next round of auditions. We found it, and also the person who was handing out bands, but she ran out right as we got there. She said to wait there (which was not in an actual line) and said she would be back with more. She never came back. We ended up just going to the back of the line so we would have a spot. I think another hour went by, then someone said someone would be coming around with yellow bands, to get into the 9pm round. An hour later they showed up. LONG, boring story short, we waited in that line for 4 hours, with no where to sit down, thinking we would have chairs to sit in once we got inside. NOPE! So another hour on our feet. They pulled names 5 at a time to get a shot to get heard and solve puzzles. I think a total of 25 people went up and they were done. There were 1100 people in our group. RE-TAR-DED! So we left, aching. My feet and knees were a wreck and my mom was having pain in her hips. And we got nothing. Nothing that said we were there of anything...unless you want to count the paper wristband. We were very disappointed with how it was put together. There was alot of confusion and we got alot of misinformation.

Me on our way to the casino.

Me and mom around 7:30 or 8. We were tired and I had nothing better to do, so a nice lady took our picture.

My mom once we got in the room.

OMG! It's Vanna! Not.... this was the setup. The letters were drawn on with dry erase markers....LOL!

Yep, next time, mom and I are just going to go out to dinner instead.
