Update

I just wanted to leave a little update on Jason's grandma. I realized I hadn't been doing that! So she is doing really well. She was transfered to a nursing home after the hospital so she could learn kinda how to take care of herself. She is now home, and she has her trach out and is healing nicely. She got to go home on Valentine's Day! Aww! So, she's just relaxing at home for now. She is suppossed to get some radiation treatments, but I don't know if those have been scheduled or not. So we will see!

February Birthdays

This past Saturday was my cousin Amanda's 18th birthday. It was also my grandfather's birthday. AND we celebrated my mom's birthday, which falls on the 27th. So it was a festive day. I can't believe Amanda is 18. I remember holding her as a baby and it just makes me feel old to see her grown up! Anyways, here are some pictures from the party.

Elmo

A couple of weeks ago, I drove up to my mom's with Ethan and he wanted to bring his Elmo. Well, I needed to put shoes on Ethan, and Ethan wanted shoes on Elmo too. So, I improvised and just put socks on. Then Ethan said I needed to put a diaper on Elmo. I complied, and then took a picture. I just thought it was cute that he wanted all that stuff on him. Hope you enjoy!

Valentine's Day

On Valentine's Day, we just decided to hang out as a family. We went to the park near our house and let Ethan run around, and then we went to Taco Bell for dinner. Whoo! Anyways, it was nice being together as a family.

The Discovery Cube

The beginning of this month we went to The Discovery Cube in Anaheim. ( I am not sure if that's the correct name.) Ethan had so much fun there. We will have to go back again one day, but not yet. It cost alot to get in....well but not as much as Disneyland!

Bed Update.

Well, I know it's been awhile, so I guess I will give everyone an update on Ethan's bed. He is doing pretty good with it. He doesn't really climb out much, except for the other day, Jason awoke to Ethan standing next to him tickling his back. I guess that's a good way to wake up in the morning! The first picture I have here is the day we got his bed. He had a fit when we took his crib out of the room. I think he thought we were taking his sleeping place away. But when he saw us bring the bed in, he calmed down. He climbed right in and started jumping on it. I guess we will see how long the mattress lasts.

This picture we took toward the end of his nap one day. He was so peaceful. But he woke up as soon as we took the picture. At least he was in a good mood!
